This is a compelling portrait. The quiet smile and dreamy but steady eye contact with a subtil touch of mistiness and very slight soft focus together with quiet colours and modest tone extremes that all combine to give this portrate its unusually fine character. I really do not know what more I can say in praise of this portrate to cover the required one hundred words. I do not expect portrates to be original. If they are they are unlikely to be portrates. It is the combination of factors that shows the skill that has gone into the production of this very fine picture.
something about this and your snow-picture - in case anybody knows which one i'm talking about - makes me think you are somewhat of a very deep and thoughtful person. i got no clue about photography and i just signed up to this site to tell you how much this amazes me. great work you two!
My lord you are gorgeous. Something about you reminds me of my little cousin - I think it's the eyes. I can only hope she grows up to be as beautiful as you are. I love the simplicity of this portrait. And to be more specific, the simplicity of your smile. It doesn't look forced; your whole face lights up along with your mouth. It's so slight and so gentle. And the softness of the lighting, the way the light bounces off everything leaving a beautiful glow - simply amazing.
i think the light that shines in your country is very different from that shines on me, because the photographs taken there is a light that shines much more than on sunny days brighter. your photos always amaze me and so much! wonderful. i love it!
